Civic Museum of Palaeontology and Palaeo-ethonology “Decio de Lorentiis”. Flask.
Pottery. 3rd millennium B.C. beginning.
Flask with high cylindrical neck, rounded back at the top of which there are tubular ribbon shaped opposing handles. The top of the neck is missing, as is the body and the bottom, integrated by modern restoration.
These "mutilations" present on all the vessels found in grotta Zinzulusa cave, have been attributed by the scholars to the same worshippers: in this way they were not appetitive as they were inalienable offers of a divinity of waters.
