Civic Museum of Palaeontology and Palaeo-ethonology “Decio de Lorentiis”. Panel with decorated walls, fragments. Pottery mix. Neolithic/Metals age.

Wall decorated with pairs of triangles opposite the vertex and topped with lines, a wide simple graffito.
Convex wall at the non distinct base, a large portion of a human-like motif consisting of two central parallel and vertical lines very close together remain, from which depart to lateral oblique adjacent ones ending in two small branches with three segments each, wide indented graffito.
Wall with traces of decoration incised on a double register topped with non identified oblique motifs.
Rim slightly tapered to the rounded lip, cylindrical neck slightly concave decorated by a horizontal band with two parallel and horizontal zig zags.
These fragments belong to the final phase of the ancient Neolithic, when in the Salento and in the territory of Matera a particular graffito and incision decoration, defined Apulo-Materano style developed.
